An old military fortress built between 1811 and 1813, the Hotel Fortino is today a refined 4 star hotel superior opened in 1969.
All the rooms are classically furnished, some with antique. Some rooms have either jacuzzi or sauna-shower facilities, among which the Royal suite with its exclusive terrace has a view onto the sea as does the elegant resturant where, in the summer, you can dine on the terrace above the charming Portonovo Bay. The menu includes delightful Marches specialities and also international dishes, mostly fish, along with a wide choice of the best wines.
